Pressly privacy policy

Effective 2026-10-06

Who we are

Pressly (the app) is operated by JoCoding ("we"). Pressly shows traditional hand-reflexology charts for wellness reference only. It is not medical advice and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

Contact for anything in this policy: highball@jocoding.net.

What stays on your device

Camera: the camera video is analysed on your device to place the chart on your hand. It is never stored and never sent anywhere.

Care log: which zones you massaged, and when, stays on your device. There is no account, and we do not receive this history.

What we process, by service

Feedback (our server, hosted on Cloudflare): if you use Send feedback, we receive the message you type, your email only if you choose to add one, the app version, your device model, your language, the platform, and a random identifier the app creates for the form. We use it only to reply to you and to fix what you report. Nothing else is stored. We keep no request logs for this site; Cloudflare, which delivers it, necessarily processes your IP address to do so.

Ads (Google AdMob, with Google's UMP consent form): AdMob uses device identifiers, coarse location and ad interactions to show and measure ads. Personalised ads are used only if you consent in the form and, on iPhone, allow tracking.

Purchases (Apple App Store or Google Play, and RevenueCat): the store takes your payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID and your purchase records so the app can unlock what you bought and restore it later. We do not receive your payment details.

Usage analytics (PostHog): named in-app events, timestamped and linked to the anonymous purchase ID: opening the scan screen; which routine you started and whether you finished it, with the number of zones and the duration; zone marks and zone cards opened; your daily goal settings; that you tapped a check-in and whether it was before or after (never your answer: how you feel and what you need stay on your device); when you log a massage later and how many seconds it was; the daily-limit sheet being shown and the result of a rewarded ad; the purchase product, price and currency and the result of a restore; and whether you own the lifetime purchase. The PostHog SDK also sends its automatic lifecycle events: that the app was installed, updated, opened and sent to the background. PostHog derives an approximate location (country and city) from your IP address. It never includes camera images, zone names or your zone-by-zone history.

Ad measurement (Meta SDK): install and app-open events, sent to Meta only after you allow ads to be requested in the consent form. On iPhone, the advertising ID is used only if you allow tracking.

This website (Google Analytics 4): pressly.jocoding.io counts page views and clicks on the store buttons. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets its cookies (`_ga`); inside them it runs without cookies or identifiers, and no ad features are used anywhere. The app itself does not use Google Analytics.

Who processes data for us, and where

These companies process data outside Korea, in the United States, when you use the feature named. Data is sent over HTTPS at the time you use it. Retention is each company's own policy except where we say otherwise. Privacy contact: the policy page listed.

Google AdMob and the Meta SDK collect directly from the app for ad delivery and measurement, under their own policies. We do not provide your data to any other third party and we do not sell it.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal data, and we do not track you beyond the ad measurement described above.

How long we keep it

Feedback is kept until we have answered it, and never longer than one year: a daily job deletes anything older. On request we delete it sooner: write to highball@jocoding.net.

Data held by Google, RevenueCat, PostHog and Meta follows their retention rules. To ask for deletion of data linked to your anonymous ID, write to us and we will pass the request on where we can.

Children

Pressly is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (under 14 in Korea). If you believe a child has sent us data, write to highball@jocoding.net and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about you, to stop processing it, or to withdraw a consent. Write to highball@jocoding.net; we will answer promptly.

On iPhone you can change the tracking choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on any phone you can reset your advertising ID in the system settings.

Changes

If this policy changes we update this page and its date. This version takes effect on 2026-10-06.
